Elkay DSFBF180K Description
Designed for bars, hotels, and restaurants, the Elkay DSFBF180K carbonation chiller water system provides three water lines for sparkling water, chilled still water, and ambient still water. Using R134A refrigerant gas, it produces water temperatures between 37 and 50 degrees Fahrenheit when stored in ambient temperatures between 41 and 107 degrees Fahrenheit. To accommodate high-volume use, it releases 0.33 GPM and chills 20 GPH. Built-in Elkay WaterSentry® filters reduce chlorine taste and odor to ensure water is safe to drink.
To save kitchen space, the Elkay DSFBF180K undercounter chiller water system installs beneath a counter. Equipped with an installation kit, it's compatible with the DSFB1UVK Fontemagna Bridge countertop water dispenser and DSC2K column tap water dispenser, which are sold separately. It's made of durable, corrosion- and rust-resistant stainless steel to withstand a long service life, and it comes with a drip tray that catches spills. Overall, it measures 161/2 inches wide by 233/16 inches deep by 365/16 inches high, which is ideal for undercounter installation.

Refrigeration Unit Broke at 18 months--not under Warranty
"Bought this 18 months ago. The refrigeration unit failed. Spoke with customer service at Elkay who responded quickly. Not under warranty as this is actually something made by an Italian company that Elkay has just slapped their name on. Very disappointing and a poor business model for a company that otherwise has a good reputation. Will color future purchases from this company and should do the same if you are considering something else they are selling as these type of problems are often endemic in other areas of ones business. The thought that someone should know this is not manufactured by Elkay is laughable. Their name is on the box, the manual, next to the serial number etc. They warranty every other product they make to 5 years as it relates to their principle function, keeping things cold."
