Dormont 1675KIT48PS Description
The Dormont 1675KIT48PS Dormont Blue Hose™ moveable gas connector kit is made of strong, 304 stainless steel tubing—a flexible, corrosion-resistant metal geared for long-term use—and a woven stainless steel braid is constructed atop the tubing for additional strength. The hose is coated with antimicrobial PVC, which slows bacterial growth to extend the unit's service life. Because it comes in blue, it can be identified quickly in commercial kitchen settings for safety. Stress Guard® rotation technology protects strain on both ends of the hose when units are attached or disconnected.
For use with cooking equipment mounted on casters, this Dormont 1675KIT48PS gas connector kit measures 48 inches long and has a 3⁄4-inch inside diameter. To streamline removal from a gas connection, SnapFast® quick disconnect is built into the fitting, and it features an automatic thermal shut-off when internal temperatures rise above 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Overall, the minimal flow capacity for this hose is 180,000 BTUs per hour.
