Dormont 16100KIT48 Description
The Dormont 16100KIT48 moveable gas connector kit features a triple-layered design of 304 stainless steel tubing wrapped in a braided, multi-strand, 304 stainless steel wire sleeve and coated on the outside with antimicrobial PVC. To enhance fire safety, the PVC coating is flame retardant and doesn't burn, although it can melt at extreme temperatures. The fittings on both ends of the hose are zinc- and yellow dichromate-coated stainless steel with male threading and measure 1 inch in diameter. For enhanced fire safety, its SnapFast® quick-disconnect design enables the user to shut off gas flow quickly and disconnect the hose in case of emergency, or to perform cleaning and repair. Additionally, the polymer insert in the quick-disconnect area is designed to melt if the hose temperature exceeds 350 degrees Fahrenheit, automatically shutting off gas flow.
