"I bought some of these to replace very worn similar tables. They're solid and the hole for running a cable or chain through the pillar part is super smart. They're new, so it's tough to tell long term, but they seem pretty well made. The only serious drawback is the lack of some kind of gasket between the table top and the base. The table sounds hollow and cheap when you put something on top. I'm experimenting with gaskets, which will certainly tamp down this problem, but I'm not sure whether that will fix the sound."
