Pitco CRTE Description
Using the Pitco CRTE Solstice™ electric rethermalizer to prepare packaged foods makes it possible to offer a wide variety of menu options without increasing the kitchen workload and prep time. Digital controls on the front precisely regulate the warming temperature, which is clearly displayed for users to view. The tank holds 6 gallons of water and is made of marine-grade, 316 series stainless steel that withstands frequent exposure to water and steam. For safety, automatic high-temperature shutoff cuts power to the tank if all the water evaporates and the unit begins to overheat; users can reset the unit by refilling the water and using the on/off/reset switch.
Soup racks are included with the Pitco CRTE electric rethermalizer, so users can effectively heat four soup options simultaneously. Users can grasp the rack by the curved wire tabs to add and remove a rack from the tank. Because of the wire grate design, the racks promote maximum hot water contact with food bags while keeping bags separated and stable as they warm. To prevent clogs from forming as the tank drains, a drain port with a 3⁄4-inch quick disconnect is located on the unit's front and has a built-in screen.
