Groen XS-208-8-3 Description
The Groen XS-208-8-3 Intek® countertop steamer is connectionless, so it does not need to be hooked up to a water supply or drain. Steam is generated when the water in the 3-gallon reservoir is heated by the element. This reservoir should be emptied and filled with clean, fresh water regularly. Because the heating element is positioned outside the steamer cavity, it does not come in contact with water, reducing limescale buildup.
Designed to sit on a countertop or equipment stand, this Groen XS-208-8-3 convection steamer holds six 12-inch by 20-inch by 2 1⁄2-inch pans, and its stainless steel wire racks are designed to accommodate 1-inch, 4-inch, and 6-inch pans, as well. Made of reinforced stainless steel, the cavity is heavy duty and resistant to rusting. Two panels on the door hold steam inside the cavity, and when the door is open, the convection fan automatically stops to prevent burns.
