We actually used these for an RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) class. We were studying the First Rite of Scrutiny which involved the woman at the well in the Bible. We gave each of the members of the class one of these vases as a remembrance.
Just what we were looking for
We were looking for an attractive, small vase to be used as favors for a luncheon. The theme was "gardens" so we wanted to go with a floral theme by putting a small flower inside the vase. It does not overpower the centerpieces or take up that much space on the tables.

This was perfect for a bridal shower centerpiece. We filled them with small flowers and leaves and it made a big impact when all lined up together. We put little stickers on them to personalize (don't use white - it's hard to match!) them and let the guests take them home as favors too.
