The Summit ARS3PV Accucold Pharma-Vac medical refrigerator has four plastic-coated shelves that can be adjusted in ¹⁄₂-inch increments and wiped clean with a damp cloth. While the easy-grip handle enables users to open the door comfortably, the magnetic door gasket ensures an airtight seal when it's closed again. For enhanced durability, the interior of the unit is constructed of white powder-coated metal to resist denting and scratching.

The Summit ARS3PV Accucold Pharma-Vac medical refrigerator includes a probe access port measuring ¹⁄₂ inch in diameter, through which users can run data logger cords to avoid compromising the refrigerator's seal. If temperatures variances exceed parameters, an alarm notifies operators of the excursion. So it will remain effective if the power fails, the power failure alarm operates on a battery.
