Continental D1RFXSNHD Description
Featuring a dual refrigerator/freezer build, the Continental D1RFXSNHD one-section cabinet is a durable unit made with a stainless steel front and an aluminum interior and sides. Between the metal paneling is 3 inches of polyurethane foam insulation, which helps to trap cold air inside the unit. Affixed to each of the levels is a solid, half-height door, each of which is fitted with a polished chrome workflow handle. They self-close to reduce recovery time and can be locked to prevent theft.
Each level operates independently via its respective controller; these are located at the top of the Continental D1RFXSNHD combination reach-in cabinet, along with the self-contained refrigeration system. This system uses R290 refrigerant, which is an efficient and safe hydrocarbon. Each level has a dedicated defrost system: an off-cycle version for the refrigerator and an automatic type for the freezer. To alert staff of a drastic shift in temperature, an alert sounds if either cabinet gets too warm or cold.
