To resist vandalism, the American Dryer AD90-SS hand dryer's cover is secured to its base with tamper-resistant screws; for additional safety, the air-intake vents are shielded. This unit's durable, universal motor runs at 1⁄8 horsepower and is equipped with automatic thermal protection to prevent overloading. To enhance energy efficiency, the dryer only runs for 35 seconds at a time.
