Part of the Pro Cart Ultra™ series, the Cambro PCU1000HC615 food carrier features one hot and one cold compartment to hold a variety of food at safe serving temperatures; even when unplugged, this unit can hold food for as long as four hours. The hot modules utilize a non-radiant heating system to generate temperatures between 70 and 185 degrees Fahrenheit, and when plugged in, it can achieve a temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit within 15 minutes. To make up for heat loss caused by opening the door, this unit recovers established temperatures in 20 seconds. When unplugged, the module loses heat at a rate of 3 degrees Fahrenheit per hour. The second compartment operates using a compressor-free thermoelectric cooling system. To keep cold product efficiently chilled, it generates temperatures between 32.5 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit and can drop to 40 degrees Fahrenheit in just 90 minutes. It takes 23 seconds for the module to make up for lags in temperature, and when unplugged it loses 0.7 degrees Fahrenheit over the course of an hour. Both modules can be adjusted using touchscreen controls.

Great for medical facilities, schools, and catering halls, the Cambro PCU1000HC615 measures 22 inches wide by 34 inches deep by 67 inches high and can hold as many as (10) 4-inch-deep food pans. Its exterior is made of sturdy polyethylene plastic and comes in charcoal gray to complement existing equipment. To ease transportation, the unit is mounted on four nylon casters, two of which lock for fixed placement; to ease steering, its body is designed with molded handles. So the electrical cords aren't damaged during transportation, each compartment has built-in cord storage. Polyurethane material insulates the unit to preserve temperatures for extended periods, and to further minimize thermal loss, the gasket-free door seals shut with paddle-style latches. The door opens a full 270 degrees and can be secured closed using the spring-loaded magnetic door catchers and nylon paddle-style latches. Users can insert index cards into the 5-inch by 8-inch menu pockets to label each compartment.
