The small Electrolux Professional 602156 cutter mixer comes with three main pieces: a motor, half-moon hopper, and plastic bowl. Both the hopper and bowl snap into place on top of the motor and can be interchanged to suit individual food processing requirements. The hopper is designed to chop and slice vegetables into pieces that can then be incorporated into salads or baked goods. The hopper features a hand lever and a side-chute ejector, which dumps cut food into a waiting bowl or bin. Included with the hopper are a 2-millimeter grating disc and a 4-millimeter slicing disc that spin at a fixed speed of 1,800 revolutions per minute.

The bowl can hold 2 7⁄10 quarts and features a transparent plastic lid with a funnel-shaped hole in the top that enables ingredients to be added during operation. The bowl is equipped with a microtooth rotor blade made of 420 stainless steel, and every piece in this machine that come in contact with food can be disassembled and cleaned in a dishwasher.

The motor of the Electrolux 602156 mixer is controlled with a panel on the front that features on, off, and pulse functions; the pulse button is used to quickly chop contents.
