The Beverage Air NC51HC-1-W mobile ice cream freezer operates at -10 degrees Fahrenheit and can be adjusted through the thermostat controls. It's cooled by environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, and its condenser requires minimal maintenance to operate. To remove frost and melted ice, this unit comes with a drain. Bad design or defective product?
"The ice cream freezer has been working well to keep my frozen yogurt and fruit at the proper temperature, but there is a problem with the seal between the two sections of the door/lid which allows warm, humid air to enter the cabinet, causing a constant frost buildup. The gap is quite large and obvious to the naked eye, even when the cabinet is fully closed."
