Meiko UM+ Description
The Meiko UM+ high-temp dishwasher uses an internal booster heater to ensure water reaches 180 degrees Fahrenheit—the proper level to kill germs and bacteria adequately. Its glass touchscreen display reads wash and rinse temperatures, cycle times, and more information in plain text to streamline operation. To inform users of the current cycle, its illuminated door handle changes color. The unit begins in Soft Start mode to prevent fragile dishware from breaking upon water impact, while a leak-detection system turns off the machine if a leak is detected, conserving utilities.
Using a filtration system, the Meiko UM+ undercounter dishwasher constantly strains food soil from the wash water, removing it completely at the end of the cycle. This unit includes one peg rack and one flat rack and washes 37 racks per hour using just 0.61 gallons of water. It's made of stainless steel—a durable metal that resists rust and corrosion. This unit is built with an automatically pumped drain to facilitate waste water removal after use.
