Kolpak KFX8-1410-CR Description
The Kolpak KFX8-1410-CR-R Kold-Front walk-in refrigerator has 4-inch-thick wall panels, each with durable galvalume exteriors and a polyurethane insulation middle. These panels are assembled with cam locks, and their foamed-in-place gaskets prevent cold air from escaping. Likewise, gaskets in the door frame provide a strong door seal. Although this unit does not come with floor panels, it does come with a vinyl floor screed. When installing the unit, operators can lay this screed over a clean concrete floor and secure it to the walls.
This Kolpak KFX8-1410-CR-R walk-in refrigerator has a remote refrigeration system, which makes installation more challenging but eliminates clearance requirements. The walk-in can be placed beside other equipment and does not require a 10-foot ceiling. Its internal temperatures are programmed to stay around 35 degrees Fahrenheit, and if the temperature rises, the thermal expansion valve speeds up refrigerant flow and quickly restores the set temperature.
