Kolpak KFX7-0610-CR Description
Made of galvalume inside and out, the Kolpak KFX7-0610-CR Kold-Front walk-in cooler is durable and rust resistant. Its door is reinforced by a kickplate on each side, and the ceiling and wall panels are strengthened by foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation. Cam lock connectors ensure correct alignment between panels for stability, while gaskets seal up the spaces between them. Instead of floor panels, this unit features a vinyl screed. Although this screed does not provide as much temperature retention, it helps keep moisture inside the unit and comes at a lower price. To prevent theft, this unit has a lockable, self-closing door. Contents are illuminated by LED lighting so they are visible.
This Kolpak KFX7-0610-CR indoor walk-in refrigerator comes with a remote condenser, which does not need to be installed near the cooler. Instead, this condensing unit can be placed in a different room, or even outside of the building. Not only does this setup free up space around the cooler, but it also reduces the amount of heat and noise in the prepping area. The refrigeration system uses a thermal expansion valve to maintain a set temperature of 35 degrees Fahrenheit, and if the temperature changes, the valve quickly responds and returns to the set temperature.
