Detecto SCS30 Description
To eliminate the need for battery replacement, the Detecto SCS30 hanging scale is solar powered. This 13 1⁄2-inch-diameter by 30-inch-high scale can be incorporated into grocery stores, farmers' markets, roadside produce stands, and other businesses needing to weigh food. Although it's compatible with indoor and outdoor use, it shouldn't be placed in direct sunlight when used outdoors. Once fruit, vegetables, nuts, or other foods are placed on the 8 4⁄5-inch-diameter by 3 4⁄5-inch-tall unit, its provides an accurate weight in 1⁄100-pound increments which is shown on its LCD display. If desired, users can reset the scale to zero with the tare button on the bottom of the scale to account for additional weight of ingredients or packaging. Overall, this unit can accommodate 30 pounds. To ease installation, this scale includes two S hooks, a bow assembly, ring assembly, two pan bow nuts, two wing nuts, and a pan with three drainage holes.
