Detecto RW-500 Description
For warehouses and shipping or receiving departments, the Detecto RW-500 Run-A-Weigh portable floor scale features an integrated two-way access ramp that accommodates drums, barrels, and large boxes. Its rugged, checkered steel decking supports items as heavy as 500 pounds, and to preserve its original condition through frequent use, it's finished with baked-on powder-coated paint. For convenience and mobility, this 95-pound unit can be transported as needed with its built-in wheels, stainless steel load cell with self-aligning swivel feet, and carrying handles that promote controlled steering.
For reading weights from a distance, the Detecto RW-500 portable floor scale includes a 1-inch-high green backlit LCD display that provides six-digit readouts in 1/5-pound increments. This indicator operates with AA alkaline batteries or rechargeable Ni-Cad or NiMH batteries (sold separately), and for flexibility, it includes a 15-foot-long coiled load cell extension cable. This display can be placed on the floor or mounted on a wall or counter with the included mounting bracket. To keep a physical record of product weights, its serial port can be connected to a printer.
