Safe in a commercial dishwasher, the Carlisle 3300842 pie plate withstands temperatures as high as 212 degrees Fahrenheit. It doesn't draw cold or heat away from foods placed on it, and it's made of melamine that won't break if it's accidentally dropped. This plate measures 6 1⁄2 inches in diameter and has a narrow rim that contains liquids to prevent them from spilling over. It's bone white to draw attention to food on the plate rather than the plate itself.
