The Scotsman CU0920MA-1 undercounter cube ice machine can produce 100 pounds of ice each day, and with this production and compact size, it works well in bars, coffee shops, small restaurants, and high-volume break rooms. Its slide-back door has a large opening for scooping and saves space since it does not need extra clearance. A large, dishwasher-safe ice scoop is included. To create pure, clear ice, a horizontal evaporator with spray jets prevents minerals from freezing into the water. Each cube is full size and works great in drinks, where it melts slowly and helps establishments save on beverages.
Controls on the Scotsman CU0920MA-1 undercounter ice machine include on, off, and clean settings. Its cleaning cycle helps keep the interior sanitary between full cleanings. The panel’s settings also enable operators to set the ice bridge thickness and harvest time. This unit has a corrosion-resistant exterior and stands on four 6-inch stable legs. "Worked great for 6 months! Compressor went out. Installed new compressor under warranty. Put back together - still no ice. Service repair person had to order another part (under warranty), still not repaired. 3 weeks no ice - buying bags for the business, not good. This is our 2nd location. Should have went with a MANITOWOC like we did on the first!"
