Scotsman MC0530SAX-1 Description
If ambient air temperature is 70 degrees Fahrenheit and the incoming water temperature is 50 degrees Fahrenheit, the Scotsman MC0530SAX-1 Prodigy ELITE® ice machine head can produce 476 pounds of half-cube ice in a day. Measuring 3⁄8 inch by 7⁄8 inch by 7⁄8 inch, these cubes are often used in blended frozen drinks and standard soft drinks. To freeze water and create individual cubes of ice, air cools the refrigerant in the condenser coils, which then remove heat from the evaporator plate.
On the front panel, indicator lights activate when sanitizing and descaling are needed. Operators can clean the Scotsman MC0530SAX-1 ice maker with the push of a button, and between cleanings, the internal surfaces are protected by an antimicrobial agent that slows bacteria and mold growth. Operators can use Scotsman’s ICELINQ® mobile app to check the unit’s dashboard, adjust settings, and walk through a step-by-step guided cleaning process. The unit has a QR code, so users can scan it to find out warranty history and service information. Access to the internal components is provided behind the removable, self-aligning front panel.
