MoTak MSD-1DR-EC-HC Description
The MoTak MSD-1DR-EC-HC reach-in refrigerator has a white aluminum interior that brightens the inside interior to highlight products. With the aluminum exterior, the unit withstands high-volume use and resists corrosion. Its door has a lock that can restrict access to authorized users. In the cabinet, three heavy-duty, epoxy-coated wire racks hold products and are adjustable to suit different items.
The interior temperature stays between 33 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit and is controlled by an electronic thermostat, so temperatures can be monitored on the digital LED display. Since the refrigeration system is bottom-mounted, it operates in the coolest area of the kitchen and has a slide-out design for cleaning access. Casters enable operators to move this MoTak MSD-1DR-EC-HC reach-in refrigerator for cleaning underneath.

So far, so good
A few weeks in with our two new MoTak fridges and so far so good. They were delivered by a very friendly driver who stayed until we examined both units for any signs of damage. Chaffing dishes easily fit sideways and the ones with a narrow lip can fit longways too for easy stacking. Chaffing dishes with wide lips/edges won't allow the door to shut if placed longways. We purchased 2 identical fridges to replace one larger Hoshizaki Economy 2-door fridge we'd purchased locally that went out within five years of purchase, so we hopefully won't be without a fridge should one go down. Our sales rep, Noah, was very patient in answering questions through the chat and by phone.

Good fridge for the price
I own about 10 of these. Some are 15 years old. Yes you get what you pay for, but as long as you do not beat on them too much, they should serve you very well
Don't b uy this brand or you'll be sorry!
I've owned this brand before in two restaurants and it's awful with water leaks, bad seals, stops cooling and spoils food, and the temp reader never seems to work correctly as compared to the manual one we place to test settings, as mandate by the Health Department for accurate temperatures. Unfortunately it's a poor quality product that's being discounted by Ka-Tom because of customer complaints. Spend a little more and buy a unit that will be reliable for years. Ka-Tom offers better ones in stock. In regards to the warranty, it's worthless since it's run by a third party company that takes forever to fix your unit. If you're in business to make money, stay away from this manufacturer. We've had the 27 inch and 30 inch and all had the same issues and problems.

Good quality product at a reasonable price used the fridge to replace the old one
Broken within 18 days of use.
Loud fan scratching noise and not cooling within 18 days after opening. Worst case scenario. Ive bought one before for our 1st location. The 1st one I bought did fine (8 months old) but this model has a different thermometer so there have been some changes on the model. Katom handed us off to make a warramty claim so a ton of wasted time while i cant operate without a fridge.
Perfect if it doesn't leak
Everything else was fine, but it was leaking inside and the floor that had been leaking for a few days was full of water，and don't know how to solve the problem.
Very quiet
I have a small cooking school. My last fridge was so loud that students sitting near the fridge could not hear me. This one is so quiet we look at the temperature on the door to make sure it is running.
