DoughXpress D-TXA-2-18-W Description
For flattening dough balls to pizzas or tortillas as large as 18 inches in diameter, the DoughXpress D-TXA-2-18-WH (11235) commercial tortilla press features heated upper and lower aluminum platens. These platens can be modified to temperatures as high as 200 degrees Fahrenheit to accommodate refrigerated dough, enhance dough flow, activate yeast, and expedite pressing times. This unit can also be used without heat or only upper platen heat to achieve specific results. For changing menus, operators can adjust the thickness as needed. This unit's bottom swings out to simplify loading and retrieving dough, and its lower platen can flatten dough pieces to a maximum of 18 inches in diameter. Depending on desired size of the tortilla or pizza crust, this press can process 150-800 pieces of dough per hour.
The DoughXpress TXA-2-18-WH (11235) semi-automatic tortilla press is powered by a separately sold air compressor and features an LCD touchscreen with timer and temperature controls for each platen to simplify operation and increase precision. When in use, its power indicator light will illuminate to notify staff. This countertop unit measures 211⁄2 inches wide by 25 inches deep by 261⁄2 inches high and is made of durable stainless steel finished with a powder-coated white finish.
