True Refrigeration TUC-27-HC ADA Description
The True TUC-27-HC undercounter refrigerator has a door fitted with a 12-inch-long, recessed handle that does not take up space in the aisle. Its magnetic door gasket has a durable, one-piece construction and can be removed without tools to simplify cleaning. This unit's self-closing, positive seal door has a 90-degree, stay-open feature for stocking the cabinet and cleaning the interior. The 3-inch-diameter stem castors and 34-inch work surface height are compliant with ADA requirements.
Its interior has a clear-coated aluminum liner with a stainless steel floor that can be swiftly cleaned if product spills. Coved corners on the floor do not trap food or harbor bacteria. The True TUC-27-HC one-section undercounter refrigerator's solid door and entire cabinet structure are foamed in place using polyurethane to keep cold air inside the cabinet. Corrosion-resistant GalFan coats the steel back to increase durability. The exterior has a stainless steel front, top, and ends to facilitate cleaning.
The unit's compressor fan motor utilizes a self-cleaning mechanism to keep the condensing coil free of dirt accumulation. Each time the compressor starts up, the fan runs in reverse for 20 seconds to blow buildup off the coil. Intended to pair with routine preventative maintenance, this feature lengthens the unit’s lifespan and improves overall performance.
