Channel MD2448 Description
Able to store and transport 1,200 pounds of bulk foods, supplies, and equipment for commercial kitchens, the Channel MD2448 mobile dunnage rack is a durable choice for keeping stored items elevated, stable, and safe in various environments. Constructed of type 6063-T5 alloy and heavy-duty aluminum, the rack can support items 8 inches above the ground for extended periods and during transportation. Its slotted surface features tubes that assist in balancing boxes, bags, and cans while letting air circulate freely. The unit's composition protects its legs and stored products from corroding in humid environments. Four included casters help the operator guide the rack to its intended location.
To move heavier loads, users can purchase the HD Casters, which bump the Channel MD2448 mobile rack’s maximum weight to 2,000 pounds. The casters are securely bolted into the rack’s frame but can be interchanged quickly. An optional 24-inch-tall handle can be purchased to help users push the rack. This unit is assembled when shipped and arrives ready to use.
