Available with solid or glass doors, back bar coolers allow operators to merchandise drinks to customers or provide a solid finish that seamlessly blends into any underbar layout.
Back bar refrigerators have either side-mounted or remote compressors. Side-mounted compressors are located on either the left or right side of the bar cooler and require extra space for proper ventilation. Bar refrigerators with remote compressors are less common, but may be ideal in hot bars and other improperly vented areas.
Bar beer coolers may also have special features that can enhance service, such as LED lighting that helps customers view your drink selection. Some units may be food rated to hold consumables, while others may be outdoor rated for use at outdoor bars and patios or near pools. Other back bar coolers may feature door locks to secure beverages, and pass-thru doors that allow staff to load drinks or food.
