KitchenAid KP26M1XOB Description
The KitchenAid KP26M1XOB Professional 600™ stand mixer includes a 6-quart stainless steel bowl that can accommodate the ingredients required to yield 8 pounds of mashed potatoes, 14 dozen cookies, or 81/4 loaves of bread. To keep the bowl and adjacent areas clean when adding ingredients, it includes a pouring shield. Its bowl-lift mechanism raises the bowl into the appropriate position for mixing, and to ensure it's secured in place, it attaches at three lock points. To help prevent the mixer from splashing ingredients out of the bowl when started, it's built with a Soft Start® feature.
To knead, whip, or mix various ingredients and achieve different results, the KitchenAid KP26M1XOB stand mixer comes with a coated flat beater, a coated Powerknead™ spiral dough hook, and a wire whip. It has 10 adjustable speeds, which range from a slow stir to a fast whip, to perform different tasks and create various recipes. Because it has 67 touchpoints around the bowl, it thoroughly incorporates ingredients for consistent results. To complement common residential kitchen themes, this 111⁄4-inch-wide by 141⁄2-inch-deep by 161⁄2-inch-tall unit features a neutral onyx-black body. So it can be plugged into a nearby outlet, it includes a 4-foot-long power cord.

"2013-12 Thumbs Down! I was a Kitchen-Aid fan but their product quality & warranty dropped to last place. Why? These two scenarios will convince you. I bought a Kitchen-Aid Professional 600 Mixer 3-years ago & used it approx. 1-time per month. Our machine's gears were stripped mixing dough on speed-2 (Kitchen-aid required speed). Kitchen-aid estimates repair cost above $100 & I pay shipping each way. This is their PROFESSIONAL model? My 2nd Scenario: My father bought a Kitchen-Aid, home model, 37-years ago, which I still own. I am 1 of 10-children & we used that mixer 20-times per month, making cakes, bread, grinding meat, grating cheese & potatoes. The machine was used on top speeds & on occasion got stuck in dough, or pressure on grater or meat grinder. Never did we strip a gear. The machine has never been repaired. It's never been in for maintenance. The machine still works! The dough hook runs above speed-2. I do NOT recommend Kitchen-Aid as their quality was left in the past!"
