Featuring grooved plates to create grill lines on meat, sandwiches, and vegetables, the Globe GPG10 Bistro Series sandwich grill is a versatile tool that benefits restaurants in need of quick grilling. This thermostatically controlled grill can reach a maximum of 570 degrees Fahrenheit, which its cast iron plates retain throughout cooking. Its seasoned plates, located on the top and bottom of the grill, create a nonstick surface that prevents lingering food residue and create a continuous cooking surface, so products are cooked thoroughly on both sides; this design also reduces cooking time. The top plate's built-in spring hinge has adjustable tension to fit different food heights. After cooking, users can scrape off debris with the included, grooved stainless steel scraper.
Safety features are built into the Globe GPG10 sandwich grill for caution. Nonskid rubber feet secure the grill in place, so it doesn't slide when bumped, and a stainless steel removable catch tray traps grease for simple removal and cleaning. The stainless steel tube protects the grill's wires from damage and an on/off switch clearly shows the grill's status, so burning is prevented.
