True Refrigeration TUC-27F-HC Description
The True TUC-27F-HC undercounter freezer measures 27 9⁄16 inches wide by 31 1⁄16 inches deep by 35 15⁄16 inches tall. So shelves can move up and down on 1⁄2-inch increments, the same material constructs the cabinet interior and shelf pilasters. Two heavy-duty wire shelves and four chrome-plated shelf clips are included per shelf, and a 12-inch-long recessed handle is permanently foamed in place on the door with a sheet metal interlock.
This True TUC-27F-HC undercounter freezer's stem castors measure 5 inches diameter and create a height of 36 inches, so it can slide under countertops. Its interior is lined with clear aluminum to match the stainless steel exterior, and the door and cabinet are insulated with high-density, polyurethane foam, which has zero ozone depletion and global warming potential. To speed up cleaning, its removable door gaskets are constructed of one piece.
To maintain a clean condensing coil and improve overall performance, the condenser’s fan motor reverses for 20 seconds each time it cycles on; this automatically removes any dust or debris that’s settled on the coil. Though this mechanism lengthens the unit’s lifespan and reduces energy consumption, preventive maintenance should still be carried out regularly.
