True Refrigeration GDM-26-HC~TSL01 Description
The True GDM-26-HC~TSL01 one-section glass door merchandiser is equipped with a self-contained capillary tube system, which is designed to maintain even temperatures from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit. To keep temperatures cold, the capillary tube system uses environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. Since the evaporator and condenser fan motors move a consistent volume of air, energy consumption is reduced and heat production is minimized. The bottom-mounted condensing unit supports maintenance and creates a no-stoop lower shelf that displays product. Coated in epoxy, the evaporator resists corrosion.
Using a reverse condensing fan motor, dirt, debris, and dust is blown off the condensing coil. It works by blowing backwards for the first 20 seconds after the compressor is started. Although this is a self-cleaning feature, it's recommended that employees perform preventative maintenance regularly.
The True GDM-26-HC~TSL01 one-section glass door merchandiser comes standard with a laminated vinyl exterior that is durable, will not chip or peel, and hides scratches and dents due to its dark design. To brighten the cabinet, the interior is fitted with a white aluminum liner and LED lighting. Cold air stays inside the cabinet since its polyurethane insulation is foamed in place. An exterior illuminated sign panel draws customers to the merchandiser. Cleaning the interior of the cabinet is facilitated by the stainless steel floor and its built-in drain.

Nice cooler delivered timely in perfect condition
This GDM-26 was purchased for residential use to replace a GDM-23 that lasted for many years. An entirely online transaction. Katom put the unit in the hands of the shipper the same day as it was ordered! This unit has great fit and finish and arrived well packaged and in perfect condition on the west coast 14 days later. It is slightly taller than the older unit. The smaller compressor maintains 36 degrees Fahrenheit with ease. A 2017 review on this website says that the unit does not have a warranty for residential use. The True warranty document available on their website dated November 1, 2021 contains no residential use exclusion (although many commercial manufacturers do have such an exclusion). A call to True Warranty Department confirms no current residential use exclusion, which they said True dropped in 2018. A nice piece of equipment that will hopefully last for years.

Bought this for residential use. So far it works great, but after I received (shipped to my home) I found out that there is No Warranty, if used in a Non-commercial application. Would not purchased it if I had known that.
