The Barska AX13312 locker depository safe features two locking sections and a one-way compartment drawer with anti-fishing baffles to deter tampering. The interior's top compartment measures 19 3⁄4 inches wide by 17 3⁄25 inches deep by 8 inches high, while the bottom storage area measures 19 3⁄4 inches wide by 17 3⁄25 inches deep by 10 inches high. To reduce the risk of product damage in storage, these compartments feature protective floor mats. This 20-inch-wide by 20-inch-deep by 30-inch-high safe can be mounted on a solid surface because it's built with four base mounting holes, and for long-term strength, it's made of resilient steel and is locked with three solid bolts.

Both sections in the Barska AX13312 locker safe have corresponding keypads that can store one master PIN and five user PIN codes. If an incorrect pin is entered four times in a short time span, the lock-out mode deactivates the keypad and causes it to beep for five minutes. For further protection, operators can opt to activate the time delay feature which prevents the safe from being opened until a set amount of time is reached. This unit is powered by a 9-volt battery (sold separately), while a low-battery notification alerts users when it needs to be replaced. If the battery is depleted, operators can open the compartments with the set of two emergency backup keys.
