Update RE-107 Description
For comfortable use with shellfish appetizers and entrees, this Update RE-107 oyster fork is 5 1⁄2 inches long and has an extra-heavy feel that adds comfortable heft to improve balance. Guests can determine this piece's function due to its three short tines and elongated handle. Its 18/8 stainless steel construction is a mid-grade steel alloy composed of 8 percent nickel, so it's more rust resistant than 18/0 flatware and less expensive than 18/10 utensils. However, because it doesn't contain 10 percent nickel, it's more susceptible to bending. The Regency pattern uses a defining line along the handle's interior border to accentuate the handle's classic shape, while its mirror polish adds a sophisticated gleam to white cloth tables.
