This unit comes with the Heatcraft Bohn PT0069LBTEMSA PRO3 self-contained, top-mounted refrigeration system, which operates with R-448A refrigerant, features refrigerant- and energy-saving microchannel coil technology, and boasts a two-speed evaporator fan and electric defrost system. For simplified setup, the refrigeration system ships fully assembled, evacuated, charge, run tested, and wired.

Although the walk-in ships unassembled, its modular floor, ceiling, and wall panels sport tongue-and-groove bodies to facilitate setup. A heated pressure relief vent mounted on the door jamb regulates interior pressure as temperatures change. To prevent users from becoming locked inside, it features an inside safety release mechanism, and after business hours, the keyed deadbolt handle can be locked.
