Ideal for businesses with limited indoor space, the Amerikooler QC080877**FBSC-O walk-in cooler is designed for outdoor placement. This 7-foot-10 1⁄8-inch-long by 7-foot-10-inch-wide by 7-foot-7-inch-tall unit ships unassembled and includes a hardware and installation kit that includes a shop drawing, detailed installation instruction, a hex wrench for cam-lock panel assembly and PVC press fit caps. The ceiling, wall, and floor panels are made of 4-inch-thick AK-XPS4 rigid foam insulation—a closed-cell, void-free, water-resistant material providing R-29 thermal resistance. The tongue-and-groove panels can be attached using their corrosion-resistant cam-action locking system and compression gaskets. All interior and exterior surfaces are finished with 26-gauge, stucco-embossed, corrosion-resistant Acrylume®—acrylic-coated GALVALUME®, or carbon steel coated with an aluminum-zinc alloy.
To ensure this walk-in cooler's 76-inch-tall entrance door closes securely, it features a three-sided magnetic gasket, door closer, and double-sweep wiper along its bottom edge. To prevent staff from getting trapped inside the unit, the door's keyed deadbolt handle latch includes a safety inside release mechanism. While a center-mounted LED light on the door jamb illuminates the unit's interior, the digital LED thermometer provides a readout of interior temperature. The cooler's floor is made of smooth aluminum panels that support a uniformly distributed load of 600 pounds per square foot—enough to accommodate regular foot traffic.
To maintain an average internal temperature of 35 degrees Fahrenheit, the Amerikooler QC080877**FBSC-O walk-in outdoor cooler includes the Heatcraft Bohn PT0068MBTAMSA PRO3 packaged top-mount refrigeration system. By combining a condensing unit and unit cooler into a single piece of equipment, it can expedite setup and reduce refrigerant consumption. This 58-inch-wide by 39-inch-deep by 37 3⁄4-inch-tall unit can be mounted to the top of the cooler to save interior storage space.
