The Bloomfield 8540D2F Koffee King® low-volume decanter coffee maker operates automatically, meaning it can be hooked up to a water supply so the reservoir does not have to be manually filled. If a water supply is not available, the unit can be used as a pour-over brewer, as users can manually fill the reservoir. Because of this flexibility, the brewer is great for permanent or portable applications. One brewing faucet is attached to the unit, which dispenses coffee directly into a decanter placed on the lower of the two warmers. These warmers are positioned with one on the top and one below, and without scratching or scuffing decanters, their porcelain-enameled construction provides durability.
The ready-to-brew light on this Bloomfield 8540D2F decanter coffee maker indicates the water temperature is at the right level for brewing, and this temperature is measured by an accurate thermostat that has a durable, full-length bulb. With the sprayhead feature, water is spread over the coffee grounds, completely saturating them to extract the full coffee flavor and aroma. LOVE THE COFFEE MAKER
We use the coffee pot on a daily basis. I bought this unit for our home use. It provides my wife and I our coffee every morning. I purchased it because I could hook it up directly to the water line instead of having to pour water into the unit. Love it.
