CookTek HRF-9500-FB35-1 Description
The CookTek HRF-9500-FB35-1 commercial induction cooktop is made to be used on countertops and can be transported from place to place as needed. Induction cooking uses electromagnetic waves to cause vibrations, which transfer into heat so that, as soon as an induction-ready pot or pan is set on the cooktop, the automatic pan detection starts warming the unit. Temperatures can be set on any of the 22 settings from 85 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit and are displayed on the LED display. All internal components are cooled with a fan, and an automatic shut-off feature is included to help prevent overheating.

Not suited for consistent, everyday restaurant use
This induction burner works beautifully when it works. Unfortunately, it is not built for full-time commercial use. We are on our 5th unit in under 20 months. Thankfully, the unit is still under warranty and Cooktek has been good about replacing it, but the issue is that it takes 3-4 days to get the replacement unit. So you can't really depend on this induction to be a go-to restaurant range.
