Within a full day, the Scotsman CU3030SAX-1/AP1-P Prodigy® undercounter ice maker can produce 329 pounds of half-cube ice, though this amount depends on ambient air and incoming water temperatures. These cubes work well in soft drinks and mixed drinks, measuring 3⁄8 inch by 7⁄8 inch by 7⁄8 inch. The condenser is air cooled, meaning fans blow cold air over the evaporator plate, reducing the temperature so refrigerant can remove heat and water can freeze.
The ice storage bin in this Scotsman CU3030SAX-1/AP1-P half-cube undercounter ice maker accommodates 110 pounds and comes with an ice scoop. The AutoAlert™ control panel shows the operating status and alerts users when it is time for descaling and sanitizing. WaterSense control purges scale, keeping the unit cleaner between cleanings. The AP1-P water filter is included with this unit.
