The Basics of Ice Machine Heads
Commercial ice machine heads are designed to produce many pounds of ice over the course of a day – ideal for larger operations that require a consistent supply of ice. In addition to classic full- and half-cube ice, models are available to produce specialty ice styles such as nugget and flake. When choosing an ice maker head, remember you'll also need to purchase a compatible storage bin that can hold ice until you need it; these production heads do not come with a bin.
