Common Questions About Alluserv Healthcare Meal Service

What features do Alluserv Elite tray carts have?

Durable for high-volume operations, Alluserv Elite tray carts are made of welded stainless steel and insulated to trap heat. They open to 270 degrees so operators can conveniently load and unload trays, and these Alluserv tray carts have 6-inch-diameter casters with rounded, soft tread to ensure quiet transport and smooth maneuvering. Two of the casters are fixed and two swivel with integrated brakes while bumpers around the perimeters of the Alluserv carts protect them and other surfaces from damage when moving.

Depending on the application, you may want an Alluserv tray cart with one or two doors. Units with two doors have a larger capacity and reduce the amount of heat that escapes when each door is opened. All these Elite Alluserv carts have a 5- or 512-inch spacing between the tray slides, and each slide can hold two 14-inch-by-18-inch or 15-inch-by-20-inch trays.

Which Alluserv heated wax base or plate dispenser is right for you?

Alluserv heated dispensers all have similar features with the biggest difference being what the unit can hold. There are units for warming and dispensing plates, heated pellets, or a combination of both, and depending on how large your operation is, you could select a two-column or three-column dispenser.

All Alluserv heated dispensers use forced convection air to evenly distribute heat throughout the unit and warm the base or plate. These units are fully insulated, trapping heat inside and saving energy. Because Alluserv dispensers are on casters, they can be conveniently moved around your establishment, and they have corner bumpers to protect walls and doorframes.

Why do I need an enclosed Alluserv dispenser for my trays and racks?

Storing your trays and racks in an Alluserv dispenser protects them from airborne contaminants and keeps them readily available at serving or warewashing lines. The dispensing carriage is self-adjusting to accept trays and racks, and it self-levels to keep them steady. Because the spring carriage can be adjusted, the dispensing height can be raised or lowered to suit your operation. Alluserv has models that accommodate a number of trays and racks measuring 10-inches by 20-inches, 20-inches by 20-inches, 14-inches by 18-inches, 15-inches by 20-inches, or 16-inches by 22-inches.

Since the Alluserv dispensers are made of stainless steel, they withstand high-volume use and simplify cleaning. These units are attached to galvanized steel dollies with 5-inch casters, so they are easy to transport to different areas. A bumper around the top of the dispenser protects it and surrounding surfaces from damage while brakes on two of the casters keep the dispenser in place when necessary.
