The exterior back and bottom is designed using two-piece 24 gauge galvanized steel and the exterior ends are high quality stainless steel. The interior is thermoformed ABS plastic with shelf supports and the base is fully insulated with high-density foamed in place polyurethane.

The refrigeration system of this mega top salad top refrigerator uses a 1/2 HP compressor, rear mounted condenser coil and hot gas condensate evaporator, and interior rear mounted evaporator coils and temperature control. The refrigerant flow is controlled by a capillary tube which consistently maintains a cabinet temperature of 36 to 40 degrees. This mega salad top refrigerator is mounted with front locking castors for easy transportation should you need to clean around or rearrange your salad top refrigerator. For added temperature and food security the doors are constructed of 22 gauge stainless steel of which the interior liner is constructed with thermoformed ABS plastic.
