Vollrath 40791 Description
Ideal for grilling Texas toast or cooking meats and vegetables, the Vollrath 40791 commercial panini press has smooth plates that do not leave grill marks on food. However, their cast aluminum construction makes these plates faster to clean than ribbed ones. These platens are lighter than cast iron, so they heat up quicker but do not retain heat as well. Element channels are set inside the plates to increase heat efficiency, and the operator can adjust the temperature with thermostatic controls. The handle is adjustable, meaning the operator can change the press height to accommodate thin or thick products.
