The True STR1RPT-2HG-1S-HC Spec Series® pass-thru refrigerator's interior temperature can be set between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit. Cold temperatures are maintained by R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant running through capillary tubes. The unit's evaporator and condenser fans push a consistent amount of air, reducing the amount of heat produced and energy used. Since the system is on top of the unit, it does not clog with debris and dust from the floor or take up as much interior space as bottom-mounted units. This refrigeration system has electronic controls and an external temperature display.

To help improve condensing coil operation, the compressor's fan motor reverses for 20 seconds when the compressor is turned on. By blowing air in an opposite direction, coil debris buildup is eliminated. A clean coil uses less energy and helps keep product cool.
