Southbend BGS/12SC Bronze Single Full Size Natural Gas Convection Oven - 54,000 BTU
Southbend BGS/12SC Description
The Southbend BGS/12SC full-size convection oven is heated by natural gas. The dependent doors open 180 degrees and are equipped with high-efficiency, low-emission glass windows. While the oven is on, the heavy-duty door handle stays cool. The exterior front, sides, and top are made from stainless steel for simple cleaning and durability. The interior is made from porcelain and has coved corners instead of square corners so debris can easily be cleaned out. Removable rack guides offer 11 different rack positions spaced 1 5⁄8 inches apart. Five wire racks come standard with this unit.
The heating of this oven is regulated by an adjustable thermostat control. Air is circulated inside the cavity for an even heat distribution, and a dual-door seal system keeps heat inside the chamber. The control panel, which slides out for easy access, is located on the front right side of the oven. Two 40-watt, high-temperature lights are inside the oven cavity so chefs can monitor their food's progress. The Southbend BGS/12SC full-size convection oven has a temperature range of 140 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit and a 60-minute cook timer to alert the operator when food is ready to be taken out.

Review this product!
Seems like a good purchase so far.
Is extremely quiet. Heats very quickly. Is very well sealed. Despite South Bend being proud of their R & D in this area, the evenness of the cooking from the top tray to the bottom tray and from left to rite is no better than the 45-year-old Wolf Snorkeler convection oven it replaced. Will still have to rotate the trays part way thru the baking process. No big deal, but I'd hoped for a little better in this regard.
