The Star 548TGF Star-Max® electric griddle operates at temperatures from 150 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. To ensure even heating, there is an element spaced every 12 inches across the unit. A snap-action thermostat embedded in the plate provides an accurate temperature measurement. Resistant to warping, the 1-inch-thick plate distributes heat evenly.

Splash guards reduce the amount of grease and debris that reaches the countertop to simplify cleanup. The Star 548TGF Star-Max electric griddle has a 3 1⁄2-inch-wide grease trough and 4 1⁄2-quart grease drawer, and since the top and front are made of stainless steel, the unit resists corrosion, dents, and scratches.
