Conveyor Ovens: Additional Information

Conveyor Oven, Gas, Single 32in W Conveyor, 40in Zone, Digital Jet Air Conveyor Oven W/Stand, 18in W SS Belt Conveyor Oven, Triple Deck 32in W x 40in L

Conveyor ovens offer even and consistent cooking temperatures, which equals a more appealing product. Commercial conveyor ovens utilize a solid curtain of hot air to envelop the food as it moves through the cooking compartment, resulting in maximum heat transfer and more even results. The heated air is forced over and under the product, stripping away cold boundaries and actually penetrating the product. This unique cooking method offers a cooler, quieter kitchen environment and labor cost savings. Labor cost is minimized because you simply load and unload the oven and allow it to move on the conveyor belt through the oven, freeing up employees to focus on other tasks

Types of Conveyor Ovens

Conveyor ovens have two general categories, either pizza conveyor ovens or impingement conveyor ovens. Conveyor pizza ovens have an automated conveyor line which allows for effortless pizza production. This automatic conveyor belt allows for higher pizza yields, which will equal larger profits for your business.

Impingement ovens have a high flow rate of hot air which flows both above and below the food to evenly cook the product. Air flow is directed onto the food while it is passing through the cooking compartment. Commercial impingement ovens have a much higher heat transfer than conventional ovens.

Conveyor Oven Stacking Options

Commercial conveyor ovens can be either single, double, or triple stacked, depending on the specific unit purchased. Single stacked ovens offer the smallest amount of cooking area, with double stacked having a slightly larger cooking compartment, and triple stacked units having the largest available cooking area. The amount of cooking area you need will depend on the size and volume of your business.

Conveyor Oven Heat Sources

Conveyor ovens can be heated by two different methods, either gas or electric. Gas heated ovens offer a slightly quicker start time, which will result in faster cooking times. Gas heated units often have higher cooking temperatures.

Electric conveyor ovens have slightly slower start up times, but offer a greater consistency in cooking temperature. Electric heated commercial conveyor ovens have a smaller risk of mechanical failure, which minimizes maintenance time.

Control Features on Conveyor Ovens

Commercial conveyor ovens have either solid state digital or electric controls. Solid state digital controls display set points and actual temperatures, as well as showing belt speed. By allowing you to easily view these facts, you can adjust your oven to perform exactly as you deem necessary.

Electronic controls take the guess work out of cooking meals by allowing you to set exactly how you want the meal cooked and allowing it to continue to use this process.

Belt Width & Length

Conveyor pizza ovens have belt widths of 32" and lengths of 40". Impingement conveyor ovens have conveyor belt widths of 16", 18", 26", or 32". These belts have lengths of 31", 33", 26", or 72" and extended versions of 50", 56", or 48".

Conveyor Oven Specialty Options

Conveyor ovens have a toasting specialty feature. Conveyor toaster ovens heat sandwiches, subs, or other wraps to a crispy, ready to eat temperature. These units can be stacked one or two high to conserve as much counter space as possible.
