The True GDM-19T-F-HC~TSL01 one-section glass door merchandiser has an automatic defrost system that is time initiated and temperature terminated to keep ice buildup off the evaporator coil. The self-contained capillary tube system uses R404A refrigerant to keep the operating temperature at -10 degrees Fahrenheit, which is ideal for frozen pizzas and dinners. The evaporator fan motors and large fan blades have a low-velocity, high-volume airflow, which produces quick pull-down time, fast temperature recovery, and cold holding temperatures. Designed to blow excess dust, dirt, and debris off of the condensing coil, the fan motor reverses at start up for 20 seconds. With a clean coil, the refrigeration system maintains consistent product storage temperatures, operates efficiently, and minimizes energy consumption. Despite improving the system's overall operation, this cleaning feature doesn’t replace preventative maintenance recommendations.
Product is visible to customers since LED lights brighten the interior and the thermal-insulated door is made of triple-pane glass. Four heavy-duty, PVC-coated wire shelves hold products and are adjustable on 1⁄2-inch increments to accommodate the products’ varying heights. A no-stoop shelf is created by the condensing unit being mounted at the bottom of the cabinet and raises product so it is visible. I was really excited to get this freezer, we have the temp set on 5 degrees instead of the factory set -10 F. The temp inside the cabin is 20 degrees F (even tho it's set at 5 degrees F) but it jumps to 40-50 degrees during the day by opening it a lot. We bought it to replace an older japanese freezer and I wish I hadn't bought it now because it does not serve our needs, so it just sits empty in my over crowded kitchen. Wish I could return it! Oh, and it did not come with casters!
