The Hoshizaki DCM-751BAH-OS countertop ice and water dispenser can be used almost anywhere, from self-serve drink areas in restaurants to nurse stations in hospitals. Because the storage bin is inside the unit, operators do not have to scoop ice, instead pressing a button to dispense the ice or water for a more sanitary and convenient method of dispensing ice. It makes cubelet ice, which is often called nugget ice, and with their pellet shape, the ice pieces are soft and chewable, which is why they are a preferred ice type with customers.

In a 24-hour period, the Hoshizaki DCM-751BAH-OS countertop nugget ice and water dispenser can make 801 pounds of ice. With higher ambient air and incoming water temperatures, this amount will decrease, and after the ice is made, it stays in the 95-pound-capacity storage bin until it is dispensed. To keep ice pure and clean, a CleanCycle24™ design flushes the unit every hour for 2 seconds to eliminate impurities. An antimicrobial agent is also built in to protect against bacteria growth.
