Vulcan VW3S Description
To maximize holding without transferring flavors, this Vulcan VW3S drawer warmer is divided into three heated drawers, each of which features a 475-watt heating element, thermostatic control, and large thermometer for temperature adjustment and management. Users can open and close the drawers' sliding vents to control moisture levels, while the cabinet's top and sides are insulated to minimize temperature fluctuations and save energy. While each drawer accommodates a full-size pan, they can also support third- and half-size pans.
As the largest unit in the VWS series, the Vulcan VW3S warming drawer measures 27 1⁄2 inches wide by 23 1⁄2 inches deep by 33 3⁄4 inches high. Because it's furnished with 5-inch adjustable legs, users can level it on irregular surfaces to prevent wobbling during pan loading and retrieval. Each drawer features a large handle and is mounted on stainless steel drawer slides and roller bearings for smooth opening and closing. For heavy-duty use, this unit is made of stainless steel—a metal that withstands high-volume use, is simple to wipe clean, and resists rust and corrosion.
