Both the interior and exterior of the Traulsen RHF132W-HHS full-height mobile heated cabinet are constructed of heavy-duty 20-gauge stainless steel that resists rust and corrosion through heavy use. Because it's insulated with thick polyurethane foam, temperatures are maintained and energy use is reduced. To limit the heat that escapes when doors are opened, the unit has a set of solid stainless steel Dutch doors that also feature foamed-in-place insulation. Adjustable legs on the bottom of the unit provide stability as food pans are loaded in and retrieved from the cabinet.

To streamline temperature changes and other setting selections, the Traulsen RHF132W-HHS heated holding cabinet includes a digital control panel located on its front with five simple buttons, enabling operators to cycle through, display, and change current settings. The control panel also incorporates a variety of alarms that notify staff if the temperature is too high or low, a door is left open, or the power fails. If the cabinet experiences power failure it stores the most recent temperature selection as well as the time power was lost, then it displays that information and the time of startup when power is restored. To increase visibility, the cabinet includes an incandescent light that’s automatically triggered when the doors are opened.
