Vollrath 77530 Description
The Vollrath 77530 Tribute® griddle has an insulated, silicone handle that stays cool to the touch. This handle withstands heat as high as 450 degrees Fahrenheit, and the griddle is durable, providing even heat distribution with three layers of material. Non-stick coating releases food to simplify cleaning, and the magnetic bottom ensures the 12-inch Vollrath induction-capable aluminum nonstick griddle is also compatible with ceramic cooktops, as well as electric and gas equipment.

complete waste of money
I cautiously bought this griddle again.
The non-stick finish on the first unit I purchased disintegrated. My GE induction cooktop has settings up to 10 and I had not used a setting higher than 8 so I was surprised with this. I bought the same unit again only because I couldn't find another induction compatible low-sides griddle that seemed to have some quality to it. I found stainless steel, but don't want the cleaning hassle of stainless steel. I have not taken the cooktop setting any higher than 7 with this new unit, which doesn't allow easy browning of food, but I don't want another plan ruined.
Don't buy this product
The pan is higher in the middle and if you choose to use some fat to flavor pancakes, it all runs off. I note a complaint from 2015 about the same problem. They have NOT FIXED this problem. Vollrath will not stand behind their product if is for residential. DON'T BUY ANYTHING VOLLRATH because if there is a problem with it, you are out of luck - no replacement. BUYER BEWARE!

Holds and cooks several foods at one time. A must for bachelors in small kitchens. Love it!
Great Induction Griddle
After trying several so-called Induction Ready griddles, including cast iron, only to find half-cooked pancakes on each corner, I bought the Vollrath 12" griddle. Now I can achieve evenly cooked pancakes in each corner. If you have an Induction cooktop, and want an even heating griddle, this is it. And nothing sticks.

This is a great product.
My husband uses the griddle on our ceramic top stove. Does not scratch. Uses it for sausage,bacon and grilling veggies.

I have been looking for an induction compatible griddle for a long while and have finally found it! It works perfectly on my cooktop. It's heavy and huge and it was just what I was searching for!

Best stove top griddle EVER!!
This griddle is the only 12" stove top griddle I could find. I bought one back in 2013 and I used it every day (most days for breakfast and dinner) After HEAVY use the coating did show some wear, but I used it hard and should have taken a little more care with it. I bought a new one and have the old one as a back up. Katom's price was the best around!! Griddle is heavy duty, nice flat bottom (works well on glass top stove) and extremely non-stick. You can make eggs and french toast with nothing added to surface and it will not stick. Love it!!
Everything runs to the corners.
Got it and very first time tried to make pancakes. Surface was not flat and the batter ran to all 4 corners. Non-stick worked great and heated quickly and evenly. Working to get it replaced currently.

Great Pan
Even eggs and fragile foods do not stick. No oil necessary. The 12" size is great.
